  • The University of Tübingen’s Friedrich-Förster Prize recognizes the significance of her work: “Fluorescent Response of Individual Organic Bioresponders in Complex Nanoenvironments” in the fields of Physics or Physical Chemistry.

Madrid, 13th july, 2026Dr. Liangxuan Wang, a former Ph.D. student who completed her dissertation under the supervision of Johannes Giershner (IMDEA Nanoscience) and Alfred J. Meixner (University of Tübingen), has been awarded the Friedrich-Förster Prize for Young Scientists.

Her doctoral thesis, titled “Fluorescent Response of Individual Organic Bioreceptors in Complex Nanoenvironments,” has been recognized as a significant contribution to the fields of physics and physical chemistry.
